Custom Views

An important feature of datagrids is the ability to create both personal and shared views. This flexibility can improve user efficiency and productivity while fostering better collaboration among team members.

Personal or Shared Views

Personal views allow individual users to apply their own preferences and filters to the data in the datagrid. Each user can tailor the information to their specific needs and work style.

  • Example: A sales representative might create a personal view focused on open sales opportunities, while a logistics employee might focus on pending deliveries.
Personal views enable users to quickly and efficiently access the most relevant information, resulting in higher productivity.

Shared views, on the other hand, are intended for use by multiple users. They can be created by team leaders or managers and then shared with other team members or the entire organization. Shared views ensure consistency in how data is presented and analyzed, contributing to more effective teamwork and communication.

Creating a View

To create a view:

  2. A new view will be created and appear at the top of the view bar.
  3. Assign a name to the view and specify whether it is for a specific role or just for yourself (user).

Saving a View

You can modify an existing view and then overwrite it.

  1. Click the three dots next to the view you want to overwrite.
  2. Select Save to apply your changes and update the view.
